Meet your Roaster
Hi, I'm Mikey, the roaster behind 222 Coffee in King City, Ontario. My passion? Finding coffees that tell a story and roasting them to sing!
I fell in love with single origin coffees because every origin has a unique flavour. The beans in the coffee cherry are influenced by the soil, climate, altitude, and processing method of that region and of that particular harvest. No harvest will ever taste the same!
To preserve the origin characteristics of that harvest, I roast all my beans to a medium roast while having enough development to get some of the delicious chocolate notes as well. It’s the best of both worlds!
